December Bliss Tip
As Christmas fast approaches andlife gets a little ‘crazy busy’… Remember to slow down and smell the roses. I recently finished a full time job working over 50 hours per week and the days ‘coming down’ off the full time gig were painfully full of exhaustrion. What I experienced is full blown fatigue like I have never experienced before because I had not slowed it down - at all. So lots of nurturing for you my friends as you slow down toward your christmas break. Now is the time to go to bed early, slow down the partying and toxic intakes. Walk daily, dose up on liquid minerals and vital greens, and meditate daily… Then you can celebrate with style over christmas instead of being asleep after breakfast. What else can you do to Bliss out this month?
July Bliss Tip
It’s winter - cold and dry and your skin needs your attention during this time… This July, indulge in deeply hydrating and nurturing creams, masks, lotions and oils to care for your skin and nejoy the totally blissful feelings that come with self care.
May Bliss Tip
May is the month of Ladies Pamper Expo and this months bliss tip is all about you pampering yourself. When we think of pampering, we almost always think of something that involves our ‘outer body’ - like a massage, facial or bubble bath. Mays Bliss Tip is all about how you can pamper yourself from the inside, first. How does one nurture their soul, spirit, self esteem?
The most luxurious nurturing and pampering comes from within, there is no doubt that when you spend time giving love and care to your spirit that you feel immensely better as a person. This could come in the form of writing in a journal and downloading some feelings. It could be attending a course that helps you grow and inspires you, a weekend transformational retreat or anything that has you thinking and being present to the real you.
A few ideas to get started with internal pampering;
- Daily affirmations - pin up affirmations in areas you will see them daily and repeat them, feel them and most importantly, believe them.
- Keep a gratitude Journal so you can remind yourself of everything you have in your life to be grateful for - this will help keep you focused on the good things in life.
- Read books that inspire you and keep you learning and focused.
- Attend women’s groups, circles and gatherings to surround yourself with like-minded women you can share and be open with.
- Attend retreats, seminars, workshops and of course - Ladies Pamper Expo so you can completely immerse in your emotional wel being.
- Enjoy a daily ritual of ‘me time’ where you get to sit in silence observing nad being present with yourself in a self loving space.

April Bliss Tip
It’s pretty easy to let things get you down, for complacency to kick in and this can happen in all areas of your life at anytime. Sometimes you just need a boost, a state change, something that will get you out of your mood, or this phase and get you rockin and rollin again. The one sure thing I know that does this is Passion. When you feel passionate about something you super charge it with energy and it comes alive again, success happens, relationships flourish and you feel happier….

January Bliss Tip

Well here in Brisbane, like other states in Australia there have been devastating floods which have wiped out whole towns and taken lives… The one thing that is ever so apparent and a miracle to observe (and be involved in) is the kindness of mankind. Generosity, effort, pitching in to help, giving, giving, giving to total strangers by total strangers. The giving has come in so many ways, from the big to the small and no gesture is too small….Baskets of sandwiches to volunteers, groceries bags of drinks and snacks, pizza deliveries, tradies working around the clock, neighbors clearing mud and hauling furniture together. People from out of town coming into town to assist with clean up and people offering their spare rooms for shelter, their spare , clothes and money to assist those effected in getting back on their feet…
I find it hard to feel grief for the flood coming and ripping up our city when so much good is coming out of it… So much of what is happening is a not so subtle reminder to all people from all walks of life to give selflessly to your neighbor, your countryman, your brother and sisters of the planet, be kind, be caring and forgiving…
At this time, nationality means nothing, what religion you practice is not important, beliefs are accepted and everyone is united… Is this what Peace looks like???
This months Bliss Tip is to find a way EVERY DAY to give a RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS to someone in need - someone in need of anything! The more you give of yourself - selflessly, the more you will receive in return, the more peace and harmony in the world will result…
So ask yourself every day, what can I do today to serve and give.. That very thing may change someones life forever xxx

December Bliss Tip
Ahhh the silly season is upon us! For some Christmas is a time for reminding us how loved and connected we are with those in our lives, it’s a time of celebration. For others, Christmas can be a time of dread and scarcity - reminding you of everything you don’t have - a lover, family close by, money… This month’s Bliss Tip is for you sweet angel so you an create more of everything and feel completely abundant and fulfilled… It’s all about you!
Whether you are with a partner or not, have enough money or very little family around you (that you like), this time of year is about loving and nurturing and planning and most importantly - Validation! December is time to take stock of what you have achieved, completed, given and received… So you can get out of that scarcity ’so busy’ mindset and see how abundant you really are.
Every woman needs to feel validated. Validation gives us the feeling that we are enough, that we are recognised and worthwhile. The only problem is that most of us seek external validation and are left disappointed when others do not ‘coo’ over us… So validating oneself is vital. How?
Write a list of all you have done this year - the big and the small. Keep writing for 7 minutes and do not stop until you have brain dumped everything. It could be as simple as getting your children to school on time 90% of the time, I made x amount of money on a contract, I went to the gym x times, I lost x kg’s, I did x workshop, I went the year without alcohol, I created x, I got a new job, I got out of bed…. You will be surprised at all the things you have actually achieved when you list them.
The 2nd stage is to stand up in the mirror and declare to yourself how wonderful you are for achieving your list (and list them out loud in the form of statements - I am super mum for.. I have a fantastic new job… I earned x amount this year, I am super fit…) Feel the energy of success and achievement… It’s a great idea to journal your achievements too.
Lastly, the most important thing is to REWARD yourself! Nothing goes unrewarded the smallest deed is validated by you - even if you feel like you achieved nothing, you got out of bed and that could be enough! Great or small it doesnt matter, the idea is that you reward yourself, give gratitude and celebrate another year of growth and contribution…
Rewards can be great or small.. I always suggest doing something that is free but it is christmas time and a little surprise under the christmas tree for the most important person in teh world may be just the ticket to feeling great and kick starting the new year with unlimited possibilities and potential….

November Bliss Tip
Take time out for you! It’s that simple, dont wait till the time you crash and burn, regularly take time out to regenerate, re-group and revitalise your energy sources. You need more time than you think on a more regular time frame than you realise. Time out could be spending an afternoon laying on your bed meditating, a slow walk in a forest, a day spa or a long hot bath. The most important thing to remember is - Sometimes you have to say NO! With pre-christmas about to hit, reconsider doing a million things and do only what is necesary to keep you happy. Saying NO can be a blessing in disguise…..
October Bliss Tip
October’s Bliss Tip is all about Gratitude… The pure blissful feeling that comes with being and feeling grateful. When was the last time you took stock of what you have? Who you have in your life? What you’ve created? How much success you have celebrated (or not)? The stories we tell, our experiences and every one in them even the perpetrators deserve gratitude. Gratitude sets you free, fills your life with love and gives you the feeling of inner peace…. Is that not Blissful???
One of the easiest ways to ‘be in a state of gratitude’ is to keep a Gratitude Journal… Every night write down what you are grateful for, it could be something simple or something amazing that happened in your day - either way, you end the day on a grateful, positive note. Viewing the world through eyes that are grateful is far less confusing and painful than being exhausting and pissed off, upset and in ‘EFFECT’… Having Gratitude puts you on the ‘CAUSE’ side of the equation - where you are in the drivers seat.
Who wants to be in the drivers seat and totally in control of their life? Me thank you very much… Practice gratitude my friends! xxx

It’s SPRING and time to shape up, get fit and clear out the winter cob webs just in time for summer. We’ve had a wonderful winter, snuggled up, warm and toasty, comfort food and red wine….
