August Bliss Tip

Flexibility is KING! Flexibility in all areas of your life is essential… Flexible behaviour allows you to discover more about yourself and others and a flexible body destresses your mind, body and soul… Here’s a few more benefits of being flexible;

  • Increased blood flow and nutrients to all of your tissues which allows a greater range of motion
  • More synergistic muscle coordination
  • Better sexual mobility and a greater variety of positions, better sex is the best reason to be more flexible!
  • Stretching causes muscular relaxation, which results in reduction of accumulated toxins, less muscle shortening or tightening, and less fatigue
  • Improved posture

Stretching to increase flexibility can be as easy as joining a yoga class or sitting on the floor each night when you watch tv and doing some light stretching.  Each time you do it, it gets easier and the easier it gets, the better you are going to feel each time too. Not sure what to do? Rent a few DVD’s on yoga and learn a few basic poses and off you go.

July Bliss Tip

July is the month to wear a dress and be as feminine as you can.  The key to being a woman is being strong in your softness, aloof with your sense of knowing, direct with your communication, powerful in the way you move, speak and decide yet understanding and open minded… This month as yourself as many times as you can each day…”What polarity am I in right now?” By that I mean which energy source are you using, Masculine or Feminine?

Masculine energy is still, goal oriented, directed, competitive, focused on achievement… Feminine energy is soft, flowing, creative, full of ideas, it needs movement and variety and is very intuitive and nurturing.  If you are at work you are most likely using masculine energy and so it’s important to remember you can get the job done like a woman and probably be more powerful and energetic for doing so.  Remember, be a woman first and foremost and if it helps you to remember, wear a dress!

June Bliss Tip

The winter months seem to rob our skin of all that dewy softness, our legs get dry, facial skin a little parched or dehydrated and tight due to heating and cold winds… So this months Bliss Tip is about skin care, caring for your skin and luxuriating in some gorgeous and delicious skin treatments that are above and beyone your usual regime… I’m assuming you lovely ladies have a regime?

Let’s start by defining a healthy skincare regime: Morning cleanse and tone, eye cream and protective moisturiser. Evening, a cleanser to remove your makeup, including eye makeup remover, toner, eye cream, an anti ageing serum and a night cream… Night creams are important as they regenerate your skin while you are sleeping - while the rest of your body is regenerating… Additional items you can include is an exfoliating product 2-3 times per week and a mask to either nourish, moisturise, cleanse or boost your skin in some way…

It’s easy this month - Winter is approaching Australia and it’s time to rug up, get out your slippers and featherdown, light a fire with your favorite squishy pillows and kick back with a good book.  How long has it been since you last snuggled up on the couch with a hot chocolate, your pj’s and did nothing but lose yourself in a brilliant novel?  Well it’s time honey to allow your mind to take a holiday in an exoctic fantasy… There are an endless amount of great books to choose from, so indulge yourself this weekend….

For our readers on the other side of the planet where it’s starting to warm up - It’s poolside for you - Great book, cold glass of punch and a bliss out whilst getting plenty of essential Vitamin D… Enjoy gorgeous Goddess!

April Bliss Tip

Are there times in your life when you feel you are just floating through your days, disconnected, too much ’stuff’ going on - it all seems almost surreal? You feel overwhelmed and almost immobilised by the tasks ahead. You might even feel like giving it all up for what seems like the ‘easy’ path (whatever that is for you)…  There is one thing you can do that will all the difference… Let’s explore how you can reconnect, gain clarity and get back on track and most importantly, get on with it!

The secret is to get ‘grounded’, ground your energy and reconnect with source…. Quite often when you feel flighty, immobilised  and disconnected with the world its because you are not grounded.  Think of mother earth as your energy centre and when you connect to that source, you ground your energy. So, getting grounded is as simple as mindset imagery - connecting to the earths core and recalibrating your energy, giving yourself a recharge by drawing on earth’s energy. Here’s how…

Whilst standing tall, feet shoulder length apart, knees soft and unlocked, arms straight down your sides, take a deep breath - a belly breath (when your belly rises because you are bringing the breath deep down into your lungs), repeat 3-4 times.  Then, with closed eyes, imagine the red hot core of the earth way down deep below you, imagine the fiery centre and the energy that resides there, next imagine drawing up that raw, blissful energy upward toward you, through your feet and up your body, filling  you and then settling in your base chakra (at the base of your pelvis) - take in 3 deep, meaningful breaths, bringing life to your source energy in your body… Imagine the red raw energy filling you, connecting with all there is, holding you firm to the ground - and breath….

Only open your eyes only when you feel the groundedness, your reconnection and clarity fill you.  Once your eyes are open, using your intution, write a list of the top three most important things you need to get done that daya nd go about doing them immediately… Go to it girlfriend and have a great day! xx




March Bliss Tip

It comes just in the nick of time for the month is nearly over… But all things in life are timely, even if we dont see it that way at the time. And that is what this months Bliss Tip  is all about.  Diving Timing, Faith and Acceptance.  Allowing Divinity into your life is one major step toward enlightenment… But how do I do that you ask?

By practising having FAITH, letting go and simply trusting that the universe (or God, what ever you choose that to be), has everything in order.  when you trust that all is right as it is and have Faith that your world is perfect, even with it’s ‘apparent’ imperfections, nothing can truly harm you and all is understood. 

When under duress or in times of adversity, take a deep breath, ground your energy, and repeat:

 ”I trust in Divine Order, everything is as it is meant to be, this too will pass”.

Be then open to discovering the lessons in the experience life has delivered to you…

January Bliss Tip

It’s the first week of another year, a great time to indulge in some loving connection and fun while we’re all kicking back and relaxing with loved ones. Whether you are in a cold climate or warm climate right now, it is time to enjoy the loving touch of a warm set of hands caressing your body, soft lips nibbling you, hard body enjoying you….  Connection with a lover is not only good for your body (losing calories, releasing tension and stress) but your mind also gets a fresh rush of feel good endorphins. I urge you to open your mind to your ‘Adventurous’ side and try something new and exciting in loveland….

How awesome will this year be if, on top of your career and success goals, you added some sexy loving goals too?  A healthy dose of sensuality and sexuality can have a direct benefit on your self esteem and confidence, how much more could you use right now?   With a partner or alone, everybody deserves sexy loving fun, so if you are single, this months Bliss Tip is for you too… Get the picture?

Bliss Tip - December

This months Bliss Tip is all about glamour, fashioning it up and strutting your best assests this Christmas. It doesn’t really take a lot to feel good about yourself. We all know the best way to feel great is to start from the inside out - clear your mind of clutter, set goals and daily intentions and let go of the past… But that kind of clean up and action can take some time, time of which is in short supply over the Christmas break.

So this month is a quick fix kind of Bliss Tip… Dress up, do your hair differently, wear heels, experiement with your makeup, do a weekly mask on your face, drag out your frocks and fashion up when ever you get the chance to… When you look good you feel good and feeling good is what it’s all about right? Let go of the small stuff, choose your arguments wisely and have fun feeling glamorous - you never know who is watching!  Most importantly, spend quality time with family, smile and have fun… It’s been a great year - thank you gorgeous for reading… xxx

BLISS TIP - November

This months Bliss Tip is about grace and poise.  Grace and poise are the mark of a beautiful woman… How you hold yourself, how you move and own your body and how you speak says alot about who you really are.  Take a moment to remeber an old clasic movie - my personal favourite is Breakfast at Tiffany’s with the darling Audry Hepburn.  Audry is the quintessential woman, she had grace and poise down to a fine art and is beautiful in her moves as well as how she spoke and managed herself. Sheer womanly perfection as was many of the screen goddesses of times past…

Being in a Blissful state is not just in your mind but also in your body and both are intricately connected. When you hold yourself upright and move with volition, you are in control, you ooze confidence and when you look it on the outside, you will most certainly feel it on the inside too.  So this month, practise holding your head up high, put your shoulders back, move your hands with volition, speak with eloquence and practise modelling your favourite screen goddess.  I guarantee you will feel like a million dollars…. Afterall, you are a woman first and foremost.
